If you already have your NREMT certification or MA EMT-B license, you may apply to join MIT EMS by contacting the Executive Board; no prior experience is necessary. The application process for these individuals differs slightly from the application process for our certification course, and consists of a written application and interview with the Executive Board. Please note that obtaining your NREMT certification or MA EMT-B license outside of the MIT EMS certification course does not guarantee admission to the service, and the Executive Board reserves the right to determine service onboarding capacity and extend application offers at their discretion.
